Resistance, Organize?

Posted on 6:57 AM by Unknown

Some articles on the Resistance are overdue as it has been exceptionally busy the past few months. Here is the latest ‘Eleison Comments’ from Bishop Williamson.

RESISTANCE, ORGANIZE ?

The debate continues as to whether and how today’s “Resistance” should be organized (let us here define “Resistance” as former members or followers of the Society of St Pius X so upset with its recently manifest change of direction as to take action of some kind to resist that change). Broadly speaking, the (relative) youngsters want an organisation to co-ordinate action and make it more effective, while the oldsters tend to think that any structured organisation is no longer possible or even desirable in today’s chaotic circumstances.

To begin with, one must take the measure of the chaos. It comes essentially from the shepherd being struck and the sheep scattered (Zech. XIII, 7; Mt. XXVI, 31). Whether it believes it or not, whether it likes it or not, for the whole world that shepherd is the Catholic Pope. As we observe today, if he goes crazy then nobody in the whole wide world can restore order. This is because the Incarnate God made his Church the salt of the earth and the light of the world (Mt. V, 13-14), and he designed that Church as a monarchy, a design which not even Vatican II could undo. Therefore nobody can take the Pope’s place, and if he says things like, “Who am I to condemn a God-seeking homosexual?”, as the present occupant of the See of Peter said recently, then “chaos is come again”, and there is very little that one can do about it, besides praying for God to intervene.

Notwithstanding, Archbishop Lefebvre did all he could, and by the mercy of God he created an island of sanity and order, the SSPX. But, naturally, under pressure from one Conciliar Pope after another, his successors have given way. They ask, “How can we be Catholic and disobey the Pope?” – more confusion and chaos. However the Archbishop was so successful in organizing resistance to the Council that a number of those who understand what he was doing wish to organize the resistance to those betraying him. But can it be organized ? That is the question.

A wise colleague, old enough to have campaigned hard and effectively at the Archbishop’s side in the worldwide expansion of the SSPX in the 1970’s and 1980’s, remembers from those early days a number of priests resisting the Council successfully all over the world, which they did independently of one another and of the Archbishop. They listened to him because he talked good Catholic sense, which is why many of them recognized his moral authority, but none of them obeyed him in the strict sense, and he demanded of none of them that obedience. Without the Pope, structured Catholic obedience was, and remains, impossible. My colleague goes on to point out that even the Archbishop’s Society resisted liberal Church and world for only 30, maybe 40, years, and the situation is rather worse now than it was in his day. When the homeland is occupied by an enemy army, my colleague concludes, it is impossible to organize an army of defence, all th at remains is guerrilla warfare.

In my opinion he accurately portrays the increase of the chaos when he writes: “The hour of God and of the immaculate Heart will come (as she has said) only when everything seems lost, which must include the little SSPX. Bishop Fellay’s chief illusion was to have thought that the great SSPX would save the Church, to which the Devil added, “from within, like a Trojan horse”. All that we in fact needed to do was construct Noah’s Ark for the faithful remnant in accordance with the Founder’s plan, and to go on constructing it until the Flood. A deluded leader opened the Ark’s door ahead of time, and the Ark was flooded. God have mercy upon us all. The leader was not Noah, but the Captain of the Titanic.”

Kyrie eleison.

Non-EU workers ‘still needed’ in Ireland!

Posted on 7:34 AM by Unknown

Those that support the break up of Nations and cultures would have use believe that Ireland ‘needs’ more workers from outside Ireland. Thousands of Irish people have emigrated and there is continued unemployment. Thought and Action believes in putting Irish people first and supports Irish jobs for Irish workers.

The liberal mantra has always been that we need foreign workers. What we need is to give Irish youth a future in Ireland. Despite our small population, the amount of talent and skills is very high.

Rochus Misch has died

Posted on 6:53 AM by Unknown

Pray for the repose of his soul.

http://www.independent.ie/world-news/hitlers-bodyguard-misch-dies-at-96-29558173.html

06 SEPTEMBER 2013

Rochus Misch, who served as Adolf Hitler's devoted bodyguard for most of the Second World War and was the last remaining witness to the Nazi leader's final hours in his Berlin bunker, has died at the age of 96.

Misch died in Berlin after a short illness, according to Burkhard Nachtigall, who helped him write his 2008 memoir.

Misch remained proud to the end about his years with Hitler, whom he affectionately called "boss". In a 2005 interview he recalled Hitler as "a very normal man" and gave a riveting account of the German dictator's last days before he and his wife Eva Braun killed themselves as the SovietRed Army closed in around their bunker in Berlin.

"He was no brute. He was no monster. He was no superman," Misch said.

Born on July 29, 1917, in the tiny Silesian town of Alt Schalkowitz, in what today is Poland, Misch was orphaned at an early age. At 20, he decided to join the SS - an organisation he saw as a counterweight to a rising threat from the left. He signed up for the Leibstandarte SS Adolf Hitler, a unit founded to serve as Hitler's personal protection.

"It was anti-communist, against Stalin - to protect Europe," Misch said. "I signed up in the war against Bolshevism, not for Adolf Hitler."

Misch was shot and nearly killed serving with the SS in Poland, and was sent to Germany to recover. There, he was chosen in May 1940 as one of two SS men who would serve as Hitler's bodyguards and general assistants, doing everything from answering the telephones to greeting dignitaries.

Misch and comrade Johannes Hentschel accompanied Hitler almost everywhere he went - including his Alpine retreat in Berchtesgaden and his forward "Wolf's Lair" headquarters.

He lived between the Fuhrer's apartments in the New Reich Chancellery and the home in a working-class Berlin neighbourhood that he kept until his death.

"He was a wonderful boss," Misch said. "I lived with him for five years. We were the closest people who worked with him ... we were always there. Hitler was never without us day and night."

01 SEPTEMBER 2013

Two anti-war activists have been arrested for a second time at a protest at Shannon Airport.

Margaretta D'Arcy, aged 79, and Niall Farrell, 60 - the brother of Belfast IRA woman Mairead Farrell, were detained after the perimeter fence of the Co Clare airport was breached.

It is understood the pair were arrested on the runway after banners were unfurled protesting against the use of Shannon by US military aircraft and threatened missile strikes on Syria.

In a statement the Galway Alliance Against War said it wanted to highlight the use of the airport by the US.

"By allowing the US military to use Irish airspace and Shannon airport to wage wars we have become a willing accessory to mass murder. We have blood on our hands," the group said.

D'Arcy and Farrell have been charged over a similar protest at Shannon last year again when the perimeter fence was breached and an incursion made on to the runway.

They are due in court later this month over the previous incident.

“Another great day for the “Trust,” security moved, locks changed, security vehicles moved off the property after they illegally broke into Eugene McDermott’s property early Friday morning at 1am like cowards in the night which is more like the actions of criminals then a professional security company.
Their was a crowd of nearly 300 proud Irish people who behaved impeccable like true free Irish sovereign people.

What a proud moment to see 300 concerned people march over the hill in a straight line on their way to the farm singing the fields of athenry.
The security men were escorted off the property but made a token resistance against impossible odds but they were been removed regardless of what ever complaints they had but removed in a peaceful way regardless of what the Independent newspaper says.(we all know who they support anyway, so think carefully before supporting any of the advertisers)”

The New Moneylender’s Circular

Posted on 10:49 AM by Unknown

http://thoughtactioneire.blogspot.ie/2011/08/new-moneylenders-circular.html

Friday, 19 August 2011

In the short essay ‘True Advertising’, Belloc wrote the following.

‘I was born in a Galician ghetto. They call me Mrcwz. I have come to the only land where such as I are sacrosanct, and where no one will dare speak of my origins or challenge my new name of Howard. I have set up as a moneylender because I hear that it leads to the highest honours in your State. I charge 60 per cent, but you pay mightily more than that before I’ve sucked your blood out of you. I shall take all you have and get a clutch on all your life and bring you down to dishonour and death: but before you die you shall see me among your peers with the title of some dear English town of yours. Believe me, I loath you well’

The usurer has brought upon untold misery and destruction among the people and Nations. Our Nation (Ireland) is being butchered by these usurer’s and their glove puppets in the political parties.Irish people must and will, fight back.

We are and must be that beacon of light. Belloc in the essay on St. Patrick wrote “Behind the enemies of Ireland, furnishing them with all their modern strength, was that base and secret master of modern things, the usurer”.

Romanians behind city vice racket

Posted on 9:55 AM by Unknown

(Kieran O’ Donnell Fine Gael TD) for Limerick

A short distance from the constituency office of the Fine Gael TD for Limerick city there is a brothel in operation. These criminals from Romania must be deported and serve the prison sentence in Romania. See article below.

http://www.independent.ie/irish-news/romanians-behind-city-vice-racket-29525709.html

25 AUGUST 2013

A GANG of Romanian criminals is behind a sinister prostitution racket that has turned a well-known part of Limerick city into a red-light district, a Sunday Independent investigation reveals.

The growing problem of prostitution in Limerick was highlighted last week when official parking signs were mysteriously altered, branding the Catherine Street area as a 'Red Light District'.

Former international rugby player Jerry Flannery, who runs a pub in the area, also made headlines after he suggested that if Irish men washed more regularly and dressed better they may not have to pay for sex.

However, business owners fear trade is being seriously blighted by the red-light notoriety of the area and describe the women, who sometimes start work from as early as 6.30pm, as "aggressive, blatant and intimidating".

The Sunday Independent has learned that the operation is being run by Romanian criminals based in Limerick.

Through their work with the Romanian embassy and Interpol, gardai have established that most of the women working in this operation come from a town in northern Romania.

They are aged between 18 and 36, and have been brought to Limerick in recent years to work in the sex trade.

A 40-year-old Romanian woman living in the area runs the day-to-day handling of the operation while her husband, based in Romania, brings the girls over. A mother of three, she has been living in Ireland for the past 12 years and has already been prosecuted by gardai for organising and living off the means of prostitution in Limerick. She received a fine and a suspended jail sentence.

She doesn't engage in the work herself but she facilitates the operation by acting as translator and setting the girls up with accommodation.

"She speaks very good English. If you passed her walking down the street you wouldn't associate her with prostitution. The girls have very poor English; she negotiates the price and sorts out phone numbers and it's her who tells the punters where to turn up."

Online rates for women working from this premises range from €80 to €130 for half an hour of full sex.

When the online business is quiet, the women work on the streets where a half an hour of full sex is offered from €30 to €50.

According to sources, the women can make anything from €500 to €1,000 in cash a night. Every morning the cash is wired from different internet cafes, mostly through the Western Union facility.

"If a girl makes €500 then she probably gets to keep about €100 after she has paid into a central fund for accommodation and wires the rest.

"The people behind this operation are clever; if you have 10 or 12 different women wiring small enough amounts of money then there is nothing that can be done as it is a legitimate route of transferring funds," the source told the Sunday Independent.

It is a long and painstaking process, but in order for gardai to get to the organised criminals behind prostitution operations here, they have to follow the money.

In order to do this they need to get the girls to co-operate – which is not always easy due to pressure from pimps, who are often their husbands.

A disturbing split recently developed between some of the Romanian prostitutes working on two different streets in Limerick when one group started offering customers sex without condoms.

This has obviously led to increased health concerns and highlights the continued need for services such as those offered by Doras Luimni, a Limerick organisation for migrants in the midwest, which is part of the Turn off the Red Light campaign to end prostitution.

The HSE also became involved in a recent case involving a pregnant Romanian prostitute who was arrested several times by gardai while heavily pregnant and who continued to work up to three weeks before her baby was born.

The baby girl, born six months ago, was put into care shortly after she was born. She remains under the care of the health executive.

Gardai are also monitoring the activities of another Romanian girl working on the streets in Limerick who is believed to be four months pregnant.

Also last week, gardai sought Anti Social Behaviour Orders against eight Romanian women allegedly involved in prostitution in the city.

It is the first time gardai have adopted this approach in dealing with the problem of prostitution and follows Operation Freewheel in 2011, where 21 men were arrested and prosecuted for soliciting sex from undercover gardai in a sting operation.

Over 40 brothels have been shut down in Limerick over the past number of years and one high-profile figure, considered the main orchestrator of the whole brothel scene in the south of Ireland, is currently before the courts.

‘Red light district’ sign angers locals in Limerick!

Posted on 11:13 AM by Unknown

Eastern European and Roma criminality has been problematic in Limerick City for several years now. What has been successful in places in England is to photograph the men and vehicles  of those availing of the ‘services’ of the prostitutes. The photographs are then sent to the wives and girlfriends of these men. Also community patrols have started up. Non-Irish Nationals engaged in criminal activity in Ireland should be deported and serve their  prison sentence in their own country.

‘Red light district’ sign angers locals

Tuesday, August 20, 2013

By David Raleigh

A “red light district” sign was erected on a street in Limerick yesterday, much to the anger of locals.

The poster was stuck on to a Limerick City Council parking signpost on Catherine St. The sign advertised prostitution from 6pm-4am, Monday to Friday.
A furious businesswoman is said to have torn it down.

Catherine St has been plagued by prostitutes for the past two years. A gang with links to Eastern Europe is said to be behind the prostitution racket.
Former Irish rugby and Munster star Jerry Flannery runs a pub on Catherine St.
Speaking from behind the bar, his father Jerry Sr said the prostitutes

have been harassing the public for over a year.
“They’re very, very pushy, as regards what they want to do. They’ll come up to people in the middle of the street, at one o’clock in the day or one o clock in the morning, asking them if they want to do business.

“Hopefully the gardaí will be able to deal with it. Last year, they brought a few of the women to court, but the women have been chopped and changed since.”

Mr Flannery, 65, said the biggest problem is that, as soon as a group of prostitutes are moved on by the gardaí, another begins operating on the street. Cecil St and Thomas St are also being used by the prostitutes.

“The gardaí are doing an excellent job at the moment. However, the people behind this are bringing in a different crowd every time the other girls are moved on, and where they’re coming from, I don’t know.”

Mr Flannery said his son’s business, where he works, had not been affected by the prostitutes hanging around outside on the footpaths, but that a number of other businesses had been.

“I’d like to leave it in the hands of the gardaí, while they are working on it. It’s been very, very prominent for over a year now. We’ve tried everything but they keep coming back.”

Limerick City Council in a statement said: “Limerick City Council has investigated the matter and can confirm that the council’s Environment Department had no knowledge of or involvement in the erection or removal of the sign in question.”

A great day and night for the property owners of Ireland. Yesterday evening, all through last night and today, the owners of the private property bogs at Clonmoylan and Barroughter exercised their right to cut turf on their own bog plots. For over six (6) weeks now the Irish government through Alan Shatter T.D. ordered a 24/7 police presence against the bog owners in Clonmoylan and Barroughter. Despite all this, we got in our machines in and cut our turf. Grateful thanks to all who helped.

Rural Irish people won’t be bullied by the EU!

The Trio

Whilst the trio above have their noses in the trough, those with integrity and principle, are those that cut their turf earlier today. Well done. Each county and place has its own history. The West of Ireland and in particular this area of Galway has shown that despite intimidation, the people won’t be bullied.

Galway turf users cut bog in violation of EU rules

11/08/2013 - 14:41:04

A crowd of up to 160 have gathered in two Galway bogs this afternoon to cut turf in violation of an EU directive.

Relays of people are cutting the sod by in Barroughter and Clonmoylan, in opposition to the EU directive banning cutting in Special Areas of Conservation.

Spokesperson for Clonmoylan and Barroughter Bogs Action Group, Dermot Moran, told Midlands 103 radio what they hope to achieve by today's actions.

"Rural people should not be stopped from one of their great traditions of providing fuel for their winter and for their houses and all that as they have always done," he said.

"At a time when fuel costs are rising dramatically, they should be left alone and let cut their turf and their bogs."

"Land & Conveyancing Law Reform Act 2013" ... Unconstitutional?

Posted on 3:17 AM by Unknown

Some information via the Common Law Society

“An ex post facto law (Latin for "from after the action" or "after the fact"), also called a retroactive law, is a law that retroactively changes the legal consequences (or status) of actions that were committed, or relationships that existed, before the enactment of the law.

In criminal law, it may criminalize actions that were legal when committed; it may aggravate a crime by bringing it into a more severe category than it was in when it was committed; it may change the punishment prescribed for a crime, as by adding new penalties or extending sentences; or it may alter the rules of evidence in order to make conviction for a crime likelier than it would have been when the deed was committed.

Conversely, a form of ex post facto law commonly called an amnesty law may decriminalise certain acts or alleviate possible punishments (for example by replacing the death sentence with lifelong imprisonment) retroactively. Such laws are also known by the Latin term in mitius.

A law may have an ex post facto effect without being technically ex post facto. For example, when a law repeals a previous law, the repealed legislation is no longer applicable to situations to which it previously was, even if such situations arose before the law was repealed. The principle of prohibiting the continued application of such laws is called Nullum crimen, nulla poena sine praevia lege poenali, especially in European Continental systems.

Some common-law jurisdictions do not permit retroactive criminal legislation, though new precedent generally applies to events that occurred before the judicial decision.

Ireland is such a Common Law Jurisdiction.

The imposition of retroactive criminal sanctions is prohibited by Article 15.5.1° of the constitution of Ireland. Retroactive changes of the civil law have also been found to violate the constitution when they would have resulted in the loss in a right to damages before the courts, the Irish Supreme Court having found that such a right is a constitutionally protected property right.

The “Land & Conveyancing Law Reform Act 2013” is such a Retroactive Law and therefore Unconstitutional.

Why is Fine Gael so opposed to Tax on Family Home?

Posted on 2:16 PM by Unknown

On the evening when Enda Kenny was booed in Croke Park, by thousands of Cork and Dublin supporters, this is an excellent piece from DDI. It’s clear the party system is over as the party game ensures that the electorate is always the loser. Labour or Fianna Fail can’t be trusted. Either can Fine Gael.

Self evident political lies by establishment parties

Posted on August 3, 2013 by Admin D

We see this week the repeated threats being made by government to already suffering families, about how they will take property tax from you whether they like it or not. All rights removed, nothing you can do to stop them delving their hands into your wages, pensions, bank account or welfare payments.

It seemed an appropriate time to remind everyone what Fine Gael told us about property tax in their own campaign documents back in the day on the subject of property tax on a person’s home. It seems this was just another false promise. Or was it another broken promise? Either way the effect is the same, and the expediency of their words is self evident.

The best bit in this document is where it says…

“Could you trust either Labour or Fianna Fail again?
They have broken their promises and do not deserve your trust. So much for the much-vaunted commitment to ‘change’”.

It seem the Emperor has no clothes !

Ulster Bank are preparing to send out over 3,000 Summonses!

Posted on 2:41 AM by Unknown

It has been brought to our attention that Ulster Bank is preparing to send out over 3,000 summonses this coming weekend and another 1,000 + the following weekend. Other banks are likely to follow this. This follows the Land and Conveyancing Law Reform Act 2013.

The Justice Elizabeth Dunne ruling has been mentioned on the blog previously and this Land and Conveyancing Law Reform Act 2013 removes this protection and will target thousands of family homes in Ireland.

http://www.independent.ie/irish-news/labour-loses-third-elected-member-this-week-with-resignation-of-dublin-councillor-29450583.html

LABOUR has lost a third elected representative in the space of a week with the resignation of a Dublin councillor from the party.

Councillor Cian O'Callaghan said that he was quitting the party because it had broken election promises and made choices that have benefited the rich and powerful at a huge cost to everyone else.

"I disagree profoundly with the Labour Party approach in government in a long list of areas," he said.

Mr O'Callaghan has worked as a parliamentary assistant to former Labour Dublin West TD Patrick Nulty, who also resigned as a member of the party earlier this year. He was a member of the Labour Party since 1999 and a was elected for the first time as a councillor for the Howth Malahide Ward of Fingal County Council in 2009. He is the third elected member to quit Labour this week.

Labour Meath councillor Jenny McHugh quit the party this week to join Fianna Fáil, while Leinster MEP Nessa Childers also announced she was resigning her membership and would be running as an Independent in next year's European elections.

Planned Parenthood Was Behind Push for Ireland Bill Legalizing Abortions

Posted on 5:25 AM by Unknown

http://www.lifenews.com/2013/07/25/planned-parenthood-was-behind-push-for-ireland-bill-legalizing-abortions/

by Pat Buckley | Dublin, Ireland | LifeNews.com | 7/25/13 1:58 PM

The Irish Government has passed all stages of the so called “Protection of Life in Pregnancy Bill 2013” which will now be sent to the President Michael D Higgins for signature.

The passing of this pro-abortion legislation is to be deplored and we put the Irish Government on notice that the pro-life people of Ireland will work without ceasing to have this anti-life legislation overturned as soon as possible no matter what it takes, commencing with an immediate legal challenge to its constitutionality.

The Parliamentary debates of both the lower and upper houses of the Oireachtas (Irish Parliament) were long and arduous and a small number of heroic deputies on all sides of the two chambers were seen to stand head and shoulders over their party colleagues, in some cases even defying the party whip and voting in accordance with their consciences, despite the consequences.

The passing of the legislation however raises a number of questions, which will have to be carefully pondered by the pro-life community in the continuing war against the unborn.

* WHY is it that the current Irish government will only listen to the pro-abortion agenda

* WHY is the Irish print and broadcasting media so biased against unborn life and persist in championing abortion and pushing it at every opportunity

* WHY does the government ignore and dismiss the pro-life voice and paint it as extremist

*WHY does the Government ignore the vast numbers of Irish men and women who voted with their feet and attended the various pro-life vigils and rallies ranging from 10,000 in December and rising to 25,000 in January, 40,000 in June and finally around 60,000 in July

*WHY does the Government believe they can ignore the majority without facing future consequences.

There are also some questions about how Ireland came to be in this position in the first place. The pro-life community knows for example that it was brought about as a result of sustained pressure from both national and international pro-abortion organisations such as the Irish Family Planning Association which is a branch of International Planned Parenthood (IPPF), the largest abortion provider in the world.

How for example did three women who did not know one another (one being a non-national) get together to take a case against the Irish Government to the European Court Of Human Rights (ECtHR) in order to force this change in Ireland’s laws

Who financed them in taking this case against the Irish Government the ECtHR

How were the grounds for taking the case prepared and by whom.

How was the European Convention on Human Rights subverted in reaching the decision in the A,B and C case and real justice denied in the ECtHR

What other international pro-abortion organizations were behind the outright attack on Ireland’s pro-life laws.

Protest at Property Auction in Galway!

Posted on 10:07 AM by Unknown

http://www.galwaybayfm.ie/component/k2/item/1973-city-property-auction-resumes-following-protest

THURSDAY, 25 JULY 2013 17:40

City property auction resumes following protest

Galway Bay fm newsroom - A property auction has now resumed in the city after it had to be temporarily abandoned due interruptions from protestors.

Up to 20 protestors entered the auction room and disrupted proceedings shortly after the event got underway at 3 this afternoon.

One property was sold before proceedings were temporarily suspended for half an hour, leaving 18 properties on the list.

It follows a similar protest in Dublin earlier this month where Allsop Space was forced to cancel its event.

The group held the demonstration to highlight concerns over the sale of some houses which they claim were repossessed.

Auctioneer Colm O'Donnellan assured the protestors that 90 per cent of the properties were private sales, not bank sales

Shortly after this exchange further discussion then took place between the protestors and the auctioneers and it was agreed to remove two receiver sales from the list.

Gardaí remain at the scene of the auction in the Harbour Hotel in the city.

Protect Ireland From The Scourge Of Abortion!

Posted on 1:56 PM by Unknown

    Ireland Abortion

The image above is from the Facebook page of Precious Life. There is no death worse than abortion and it is a scourge, a great evil. There is a holy anger across the country regarding this ultimate treachery of the Kenny government. People across the country will continue to fast and to pray. Prayer and action continues. Ireland’s unborn babies are under attack.

Again we ask you to pray the rosary daily. We need a revolution in prayer, a spiritual revolution. Dark forces working in the lodge and in the open,  have for centuries, been attacking Christian civilisation. Bureaucrats in the EU, Dublin 4 liberals and the vile media continue to agitate for abortion.

With praying the rosary, you are encouraged to join various pro-life demonstrations or hold  one of your own to show your opposition to this ideological attack on our unborn child and our Nation. The abortion industry and these wretched abortionists profit from the exploitation and death of babies. From time to time, a mother dies because of an abortion. An abortion always kills a baby.

At confirmation we become Soldiers of Christ and must defend him and the unborn child in the public sphere.

Michelle Mulherin is an honest politician. She wanted to keep her job so voted for abortion.

    However, in 2012, she stated

“I am against abortion in any form myself”

“Abortion as murder, therefore sin, which is the religious argument, is no more sinful, from a scriptural point of view, than all other sins we don’t legislate against, like greed, hate and fornication. The latter, being fornication, I would say, is probably the single most likely cause of unwanted pregnancies in this country.”

Butchering of Unborn Babies in Ireland!

Posted on 8:28 AM by Unknown

Any abortion legislation or law will be challenged in the courts but we have a greater weapon than the courts. Let us not forget the preamble of the Irish Constitution.

“In the name of the Most Holy Trinity, from Whom is all authority and to Whom, as our final end, all actions both of men and States must be referred.

    We, the people of Eire,

Humbly acknowledging all our obligations to our Divine Lord, Jesus Christ, Who sustained our fathers through centuries of trial.”

Thought and Action has no intention of bowing out or giving up the fight. You are encouraged to join existing rosary crusades or start a rosary campaign.

At this moment in time, we all think of the late Fr Denis Fahey and all who devoted their lives to Christ and his Social Kingship.

A short distance from the Masonic lodge, the so called Irish government voted to allow direct and intentional killing of unborn children in Ireland. Their treachery will be remembered. 12th July 2013 will always be remembered.

The politicians have turned away from God, away from the Social Kingship of Christ. Almighty God is not mocked nor will we be silent whilst babies are butchered in the womb.

In these days, let us pray our rosary, continue to organise, mobilise and now is the hour for action.

Bank customers urged to complain to Gardai if harassed over mortgage arrears

Posted on 5:25 AM by Unknown

Regarding the acts and other points of information contact the Common Law Society or Debt Options.

    http://www.independent.ie/business/personal-finance/property-mortgages/bank-customers-urged-to-complain-to-gardai-if-harassed-over-mortgage-arrears-29427786.html

MICHAEL BRENNAN DEPUTY POLITICAL EDITOR – 17 JULY 2013

BANK customers who feel they have been harassed by their banks over their mortgage arrears have been urged to use a little-known power to make complaints to the Gardai.

It came after leading psychiatrist Ivor Browne said he had written to banks on behalf of financially stressed patients telling them he will hold them responsible in the event of a patient's suicide

In the Seanad, Labour Senator Lorraine Higgins said that bank customers had a right to complain about unfair pressure from banks under the 1997 Non-Fatal Offenses Against the Person Act.

“They do not have a right to destroy people’s lives and that of their families by exerting pressure on a daily basis,” she said.

Under the act, it is an offence for a bank representative to demand the repayment of a debt so frequently that they would cause “alarm, distress or humiliation” for the householder or their family. The penalty on conviction is a fine of €1,905. However, there has been only one conviction under this section of the act between 2003 and 2009.

Speaking afterwards to the Irish Independent, Ms Higgins said it provided an extra layer of protection for bank customers  - on top of the restrictions on phone calls and visits in the code of conduct for banks.

“Anybody can walk to their garda station and make a complaint that they are being harassed by their bank. It’s a decision that will be made by the Gardai based on the number of phone calls and visits,” she said.

However, Ms Higgins said there had been a low level of prosecutions under this section of the act so far.

“We are very shy at enforcing the law in Ireland,” she said.

The Master of the High Court has previously warned that the banks are driving some borrowers who can not pay their debts to suicide. Ed Honohan, brother of Central Bank governor Patrick Honohan, said he had dealt with several debt cases where the borrowers had subsequently taken their own lives.

Permanent TSB to submit restructuring plan by July 31

Posted on 4:18 AM by Unknown

An article on a bank, who future looks bleak!

    http://www.reuters.com/article/2013/07/17/ireland-banks-idUSL6N0FN33R20130717

    Wed Jul 17, 2013 11:59am EDT

By Laura Noonan and Conor Humphries

(Reuters) - Irish state-owned mortgage lender Permanent TSB will submit a revised restructuring plan to the Irish authorities by July 31 as the government bids to complete a banking overhaul, sources close to the matter said.

Permanent TSB, then known as Irish Life & Permanent, received 4 billion euros ($5.25 billion) of state aid in 2011 and submitted a business plan to the European Commission in June 2012.

The sale of its life insurance unit, for 1.3 billion euros, was completed on Tuesday.

A question mark hangs over the bank's future because, unlike rescued Bank of Ireland and Allied Irish Banks , Permanent TSB was not granted the status of a "pillar bank" by the Irish government.

Its original business plan argued that a viable entity could be carved out of the bank despite the drag of 21.8 billion euros of loss-making tracker mortgages, which follow the ECB rate and are expensive to fund.

The tracker loans, issued during the Irish housing boom, make up two thirds of Permanent TSB's total loan book.

Two sources told Reuters the bank, which employs 1,600 people, had been asked to submit fresh projections to Ireland's Department of Finance by July 31.

The updated plan lays out options for separating the bank's good and bad assets, and shows how its loans would perform if the economy worsened, one of the sources said. The bank declined to comment.

"Given the passage of time and the change in market circumstances over the past 12 months updated financial forecasts have been requested by DG COMP (Brussels' state aid division) and will be supplied shortly," a spokesman for the Department of Finance told Reuters. "This is not unusual."

The spokesman added that the plan would be "broadly the same as that proposed in June 2012 and envisages the bank playing an important role in the future of Irish retail banking." $1 = 0.7612 euros)

Rural Irish Community under Siege still!

Posted on 4:55 AM by Unknown

Barroughter & Clonmoylan Bogs Action Group are highlighting the continued harassment  of rural people on County Galway. This harassment is to be condemned and highlighted.  Locals going to Church on Sunday faced harassment and intimidation.  This must not be allowed to continue. In the face of this intimidation and harassment, stay calm and maintain your integrity.

How tragic to the see the “Guardians of the Peace” become the political police of the EU.

TCCA welcomes court decision to strike out charges

    Friday, July 12th, 2013 at 8:00 am

The Turfcutters and Contractors Association says the striking out of charges against three turf contractors in court yesterday is a step forward.

Chair of the TCCA Michael Fitzmaurice says the decision by Judge Seamus Hughes at Mullingar District Court moves them closer to completely vindicating their rights on the issue.

Three brothers, Thomas, Brian and Edward McGahern of Cloncovid, Kilcogy, Cavan appeared at Mullingar District Court yesterday in relation to charges that they had cut turf at Moneybeg, Finea on May 31st 2012.

Gardaí applied to have the matter heard summarily before the District Court but Judge Seamus Hughes refused saying he was not in a position to make a decision as to jurisdiction.

He said there was insufficient information before the court as to seriousness or otherwise of the charges noting the absence of NPWS representatives in court.

In striking out the charges, Shannonside News understands that Judge Hughes queried the legality of the prosecution of turf cutters.

The decision follows a separate hearing earlier this week in which Judge Hughes called on the Minister Jimmy Deenihan to allow him to distribute illegally cut turf to the “needy of Longford” instead of returning it to the bog as prescribed by the Department.

Speaking to Shannonside News, after Judge Hughes’ decision in Mullingar District Court, Chair of the TCCA Michael Fitzmaurice welcomed the decision:

    What Next For Ireland?

Posted on 1:31 PM by Unknown

Earlier today, looking at a secretary of a Fine Gael TD straight in the face, I told her the Irish people deserve better than Fine Gael. She had no answer for me when a series of questions were put to her. Her face showed  the guilt  and the realisation that particular political party has sold the Irish out. Earlier today (12th July!!!) Fine Gael voted to directly and intentionally kill the unborn child in the womb by abortion. With the bill to go to the Seanad and the Supreme Court, we all continue to pray and urge the bill to be killed and not the child. A rant about Fine Gael is not necessary. Enda Kenny, James Reilly and Alan Shatter have done a great job in shattering their own political party. Like Fianna Fail and Labour, Fine Gael is mortally wounded.

Men like Peter Matthews, who has written about fractional reserve banking and stated there is no justification for austerity, has been expelled from the Fine Gael parliamentary party. Others have also been expelled for opposing the abortion bill. Enda Kenny like Michael Noonan, has shown himself to be a thug and a bully. One only has to remember what Michael Noonan did to the late  Bridget McCole.

The Fine Gael solution to austerity seems to be abortion.

The reality is the Irish deserve better than Fine Gael. Whilst Fine Gael fights over “lapgate”, an event where one politician drunkenly, it seems placed a female colleague on his lap in the parliament during a live “debate” (farce) on abortion. They don’t give two hoots about the unborn or our Nation.

There are those, who do and will fight for the lives of the unborn child, their mothers, their fathers.

In a wider context Fine Gael are absolute traitors and Kenny, Shatter and Reilly should take a bow for destroying their party and for awakening thousands of Irish people, who oppose abortion and what Fine Gael and Labour is doing to Ireland and her people.

High Court challenge against abortion bill in Ireland

Posted on 6:33 AM by Unknown

    http://www.breakingnews.ie/ireland/mcgrath-to-launch-high-court-challenge-against-abortion-bill-600184.html

    1/07/2013 - 13:37:20

The Independent TD Mattie McGrath is to launch a High Court challenge against the constitutionality of the Government's Abortion Bill.

He said that he has lodged the injunction on the grounds that the Oireachtas has no right to vote on a Bill that contains provisions that have been put to the Irish people before in referenda and which they rejected.

Meanwhile, the Public Expenditure Minister has rejected the opposition's claims that last night's abortion bill debate was a shambles.

The Dail sat until 5am to deal with proposed amendments to the abortion bill - but the Fianna Fáil leader Micheál Martin said the government had not consulted opposition parties before arranging the late sitting.

The Dáil will now continue its discussions on the Protection of Life During Pregnancy Bill at 4.30 this afternoon.
